Mouth-watering Cheesy Jalapeno Pork Chops with cream cheese, cheddar cheese and jalapeño’s! This recipe is a definite “go-to” when you want a divine meal!

Cheesy Jalapeno Pork Chops

Ingredients …

6 pork chops

Marinade: (next 5 ingredients)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt or Salt Lite
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salsa verde

Cheese Topping: ( next 3 ingredients)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2-3 tbsp chopped jalapenos (or add as desired for taste)

Instructions…

*Preheat oven to 350°
*Mix the marinade ingredients in a small bowl or ramekin.
*Take a fork and gently prick each pork chop a few times. Equally spread the marinade atop each of the pork chops (top side only). Set aside.
*Mix the cheese topping ingredients together, set aside.
*Heat a skillet with 2 tbsp. of the oil of choice (coconut, olive or bacon grease). Brown both sides of the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to baking sheet.
*Bake for approx. 30min. Baking time will vary depending on how thick your pork chops are. Remove from oven and follow next step.
*Divide the cheese topping mixture equally atop the pork chops. Place back in oven until cheese topping has melted.
*If desired, top with additional serving suggestions as per below.

Serving Suggestions:
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup chopped cooked bacon
1/3 cup raw jalapeno slices
