Cauliflower Lettuce Layer Salad is my most favorite salad recipe ever!! Lettuce, cauliflower, bacon and onion – what a fantastic combination!

This salad is easy to make, but one caveat; you need to make it ahead of time so all the wonderful flavors blend/marry together.

You will not only be amazed at how delicious this simple ingredient salad is, but also at how fast it gets eaten up! This is by far our family’s all-time favorite salad!

Cauliflower Lettuce Layer Salad

Ingredients …

1 large head lettuce
1 medium onion
1 lb. bacon
1 head cauliflower

2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. parmesan cheese
1 1/2 c miracle whip
1 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions…

Tear lettuce into small chunks & put in bottom of large bowl.
Slice onion thinly & separate.
Fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble over onion.
Thinly slice or grate cauliflower (head tops), add to bowl.
Sprinkle with sugar, then the grated parmesan cheese.
Mix miracle whip with lemon juice; spread over salad top to edges creating a seal.
Cover tightly with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Toss right before serving.
