This low carb chicken is completed with lots of bacon, some cream cheese and topped with cheddar cheese.

Simple, quick and easy main dish that is certain to please all who have the treat of eating! They’ll be asking for it over and over again, so be prepared to add this to your favorites list!

Ingredients …

6 slices thick cut bacon fried
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
salt & pepper to taste
Garnish: 4 stalks chopped green onion, if desired

Topping …

4 ounces cream cheese softened
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions…

*Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove from heat & place on paper towels to drain. Leave bacon grease in skillet. Crumble when cool enough to touch.

*Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.

*Fry/Brown chicken breasts on both sides in the bacon grease, about 3 minutes each side.

*In a small bowl combine the next 6 ingredients; mix until thoroughly combined.

*Divide the mixture in half (you can save a little extra aside, if desired). Spread each half onto one breast.

*Add the crumbled bacon, lightly press bacon in cream cheese mixture.

*Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of bacon.

*Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.

*Remove from oven. Let rest for a few minutes.
