What makes this Halloween Ghosts Crochet Doily 3-D is that the ghosts are crocheted separately then added at the end.
This doily can be made as 3-D as you’d like by simply ‘starching’ the ghosts into the shape you like.

Halloween Ghosts Crochet Doily requires:

2 (350-400 yd) balls 100% cotton thread, size 10 ea (black & orange)
1 Sm ball 100% cotton thread, size 10 (white)
Steel crochet hook size 8 (1.50 mm)
24 (3/8” dia) squiggly eyes (I did not use these)

Special Stitches Used:
**Double Crochet Decrease/Dc dec: (yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook) as many times as stated, yo, draw through all lps on hook to complete the st.
**Picot: ch 3, sc under top two front lps of previous st to complete the st.

As noted above, I did not use the squiggly eyes. I like to be able to wash my doilies and did not feel that this would be conducive for that purpose. An option that could be done is to make eyes on the ghosts using ‘french knots’ with black thread.
